If anyone is curious what is means to overcome adversity, they only have to look to one man: Mr. Andrew Barbano. Born and raised in Clayton, CA (affectionately referred to as “God’s Country” by locals), Andrew was raised with a true competitor’s spirit. In joining CEGA, he has persevered through the toughest of conditions — sometimes sacrificing personal health and safety in his pursuit of excellence and glory. He has battled through tournaments whether it’s golfing on one leg with a blown out knee, showing up the day after chemotherapy as he fought and BEAT cancer in record time, or showing up with a screaming headache and no sleep after taking down a Coug the night before! Andrew is a valued member of the CEGA community and will always be a threat on the course to others…and sometimes even himself!
