CEGA was introduced to Andy Weyer during the 2005 TJN tournament and the infamous “19th hole sessions” that followed. Andy played a big role in the notoriety of this event by attempting to hit a 125 yard wedge shot on the nineteenth hole while completely gas canned and with half of Kodiak’s monthly chewing tobacco output stuck in his lower lip. The odds were not good and Andy layed the sod over the ball twice while barely maintaining his balance. It was easily top three funniest moments of 2005 and the tour quickly figured out that he gets gassed, gets loud and balls on the golf course: he was one of us! Andy started his rookie 2006 season with a bang with a birdie on his first ever hole and has shown a dedication to golf, having fun and fondness for vino ever since. Andy further cemented his status as a CEGA member in his first Masters by taking the lead on day one and then getting more gassed off of vino than anybody in the league. Better yet he woke up the next morning, threw down a few brews for breakfast, and attacked the course. While he did not emerge victorious that day he showed mettle for the remainder of the season and placed in the last two tourneys of his rookie campaign including a second in the prestigious CEGA Championship.
