Most big hitters on tour fall into two categories: there’s long..and then there’s Joe Daddy long. Like the time he hit 7-iron off the 16th tee on the 185 yard Par 3 at Eagle Ridge with a heavy wind in his face during a 2006 tournament…while his opponents looked down at their 5-irons in utter disgust. Rumor has it that Bridgestone tried to book this CEGA star for their “Boom It” commercial, but had to settle for Freddy Couples instead since Joe had already planned a vacation to Belize with his lady. In addition to soaring drives and iron shots, Rainero has been known to drop the occasional bomb on the putting green…and they don’t always begin with the letter “F”. When his putter gets hot, no one in the league makes more 20-footers in the clutch than Rainero. Off the course Joe’s many entreprenuerial ventures keep him so busy that he has yet to ever clean his golf clubs. Joe Daddy displays the same level of class off the course that he exhibits during the tourney. Whether he’s showing his enthusiasm for Giant’s baseball, working his cunning at Liar’s Dice & poker, or simply keeping the tobacco industry in business, Joe’s generosity and humor make everyone around him a better man for it. Joe is a throwback, one of those types of guys who will not stop until he makes his mark. You will not find too many guys like him these days. Joe’s heart allows him to grind with anybody and his energy & his determination will earn him many CEGA honors.
