Pebble Open
11 players can take or retain the lead at the Bridgemore. Reminiscent of the closing holes at Spyglass at the Pebble Open:
Hole 31: Barbano has a 6 stroke lead over the nearest competitor
Hole 32: Barbano & Weyer both drop 3 shots; Stock & Bjuhr are licking their chops
Hole 33: Barbano knocks his tee shot into the water, then chips in to only drop one shot to the field
Hole 34: Barbano drops another 2 shots and is now tied with Stock & Bjuhr
Hole 35: Weyer birdies to close within 2 of the others
Hole 36: Weyer birdies again from 20 feet to close within 1; Barbano drains a 15 footer to keep the lead; Bjuhr narrowly misses a downhill slider for the win and calmly hits the come-backer for the tie; Stock just misses his shot at back-to-back wins
Hole 37: Barbano makes gross par / net birdie for the win
Barbano's putting and short game were unreal all day. His ball striking was legit at Spanish Bay and he then held on for dear life like the rest of the field at a difficult Spyglass. Congratulations, AB!
