As the economy has taken a turn for the worse, CEGA has had to look for some other sponsors.

Boltbrady.com is one of those sponsors.

This years tournament was played at Hiddenbrooke in Vallejo.

The overwhelming favorite was AW. Every player was working hard to keep this guy from getting points AGAIN!

The players started the first round from the tips. With a rating of 74.0 and slope of 143, you can see why only a select few join this league. Most people would shoot over 110 (and I'm not joking).

These players are incredible! The bond they share for playing the most difficult courses in the Nor Cal is something special.

The first hole the players stepped onto the tee box. Hitting 40 yrds further back than your average golfer, they all bombed drives to start their day.

The first group included Boss, VJ, and AB. AB was firing. He was 7 under going into hole 16....A few miss swings and he fell back to the pack.

The last group included Rainero, Stock, AW and Segale. All the players were playing well, but Rainero separated himself from the group coming in at minus 2.

The second round leaders were, Rainero, AW , Stock and VJ.

Not many things can derail Rainero besides his cell phone, but when someone talks shit about his friends...WATCH OUT! Some clown was talking crap after the 1st round and JR had to tell him to shut his trap. The adrenaline carried over to the 2nd round and he lost his touch.

The only other story of the day was if AW would win again in the howling wind. Stock shot a minus 3 on the back 9 but it was not enough.

He is now chasing history. Trying to get the most pts in CEGA history in a single season.

The players only have 2 tournaments left. Next stop on the tour is the Netherton Shootout!
